Not your average mini golf
18 holes wind through rock, water, and ruin — deceptively challenging for veterans, warm and welcoming for first-timers and families. Every visit feels less like mini golf and more like a genuine climb up a lost jungle mountain.

Ancient Ruins Theme
A cinematic three-tiered cascade forms the beating heart of the course. Every hole trails, crosses, or climbs alongside it.
Not a flat green in sight. Climb rock outcroppings to the summit, then descend through the lost jungle to the pond below.
Weathered stone statuary, temple walls, and dense tropical planting turn every putt into a scene from an expedition.
"A genuine immersive experience — the waterfall, the ruins, the elevation. Deceptively tricky in spots, but our whole family (7 to 71) had a blast. Better maintained than any mini golf we've been to."
In 1759, explorers pushing through the rugged Illini wilderness stumbled upon a peak that shouldn't have been there — a remnant of the fabled Illini Mountains, more than 2 million years old, standing long after glaciers had leveled its brothers.
Today, 18 holes traverse Lost Mountain — rising 22 feet around a three-tiered cascading waterfall. Players pass through rock outcroppings, cross the falls, climb to the summit, and descend past statuary older than the state itself.

Field notes · Vol. IV
A working log from the field. Selected holes with their hazards, elevation notes, and hard-won intel from the trail.

Plate III
N 41° 44' · W 88° 02'
Hole № III
Rope bridge slung above the second tier of the 22-foot waterfall. The green pitches gently right — a soft roll can find the cup, a hard one finds the pond below.
Hazard note
Wind gusts off the falls. Aim short of center.

Plate VII
N 41° 44' · W 88° 02'
Hole № VII
A weathered Aztec totem presides over a heart-shaped pool. Two-tier green with a stone lip — most parties three-putt on their first expedition.
Hazard note
Do not disturb the Guardian.

Plate XI
Summit approach · elev. +18 ft
Hole № XI
Highest hole on the course. Long, narrow fairway skirting the pond edge — a cinematic putt with the whole park spread below like an aerial map.
Hazard note
Cliffside slice. Stay left of the beacon.

Plate XIV
Lost Temple Trail
Hole № XIV
The signposts don't lie. A sunken sand trap swallows anything short of the marker stone — the veterans in the group will laugh when you find it.
Hazard note
Full stroke penalty. Bring your compass.

"Hands down the best mini golf we've played anywhere in Chicagoland. The waterfall and ancient-ruins theming makes it feel like a real adventure — our kids didn't want to leave."
"Deceptively tricky in a few spots, which we loved — a real course for people who actually like the game. Beautifully landscaped and clearly well cared for."
"Played at dusk and the lighting on the waterfall is stunning. Great date-night spot with a totally different vibe than a standard flat course."
"We host our team outing here every summer. Groups of 20+ move through smoothly, and the elevation on the back nine always gets people talking."
